Halloweekend Nov 01

I admit it, I totally stole the title from PB and Jenny. It’s an awesome title, and really describes the fun that was had, so I hope she doesn’t mind. 🙂

For the first time ever on my blog, I’m going to give you a mostly picture post. It’s the best way to show off everything we’ve been doing, which includes my rock star, a glimpse at our trip to Cocoa Beach, the destruction of my kitchen during the Halloween Baking Extravaganza, Disney Hollywood Studios and Trick or Treating! Enjoy! We sure did. 😉

That sounds SO SIMILAR to what happened in our neighborhood.

This past Wednesday we have orange hand outs in our mailboxes that said “due to city ordidance” trick or treating would be on Saturday. I was skeptical and looked into it…the city did NOT have anything anywhere saying that TOT was on Saturday.

Turns out that the HOA president and another person on the board wanted to have a little street party for a few of the houses in the neighborhood that night! I was pretty ticked. I took 4 kids out TOTing and they weren’t invited to stay and party or anything. It was just strange and a little sad that someone would do that!

It also confused the neighborhood because a lot of people weren’t home and some apparently didn’t even SEE the handout (which wasn’t supposed to go inside of the mailboxes anyways). When we got home last night there were confused TOTers wandering around everywhere.

Love the photos!! Looks like you guys had a busy weekend!

So, did you TOT at Hollywood Studios? Or were they two separate events? ‘Cuz, how fun would THAT be???? (Says the girl from MinneSOOOOOta)

We did not ToT at Hollywood Studios, just around our neighborhood. Magic Kingdom does have a separately ticketed event to ToT with a special parade and character meet and greets and a couple other things, but it isn’t included with our passes and is a little expensive for my daughter’s lack of interest this year. Maybe next year when she’s almost 3. 😉
